Irina Sava

Irina Sava is a Romanian Animation Director and Animator based in Bucharest. At just 16 years old, Irina had the opportunity to work on the internationally awarded feature film, "Between Pain And Amen", as an Art Department Assistant.
Through this experience, she discovered a passion for the film industry, which she pursued further through her studies at the National University of Theatre and Film, specializing in Animation.
Simultaneously, Irina worked on multiple short films, both animated and live-action, such as "With Love, Mom", "I Am All Women", "Invisible", "I Want to Leave My Mark", "The Grey House", and "Suncream", showcasing her passion for storytelling through visuals. Moreover, this passion extended to multimedia theatre projects where she created projected animations.
At the moment Irina is developing her debut in the industry with the animation "The White Helmet", a short film based on the 1987 Brasov Revolt.
