Iryna Babanina

Iryna Babanina is a Ukrainian illustrator and a master 's student of animation at the Faculty of Ladislava Sutnara in Pilsen, Czech Republic. Iryna works primarily with stopmotion, using materials such as textile, plasticine, paper. Having a background as a book illustrator, she focuses a lot on creating distinctive and eye-catching visuals of the projects. In 2023 - 2024 created a short film “Dacha”, which had a Czech premiere at Anifilm festival. Currently Iryna is developing a short film about searching for identity, which is inspired by her emigration experience.
