Karolina Pravdova

Karolína Pravdová comes from Ostrava. She studied Animation at the Thomas Bata University in Zlín. She is studying at FAMU, in the Department of Animation in Prague. As a freelancer, she does graphic design and animation commissions, often in Animation studios. Since 2019, she has had solo exhibitions of paintings and drawings at the TRAŤ festival, the happening PODCHOD in Ostrava, the Trojka cafe in Brno, and the NIBIRU gallery in Ostrava. The film Rotsethornet (2021) was screened at several international festivals such as Anifilm, Zlín Film Festival, Chaniartoon, World Impact Festival, The Paus Premiere Festival, where it won the audience award, and Animania, where it won the main prize in the MAXI category. Her last diploma film “It Will Be Okay…” is now being distributed at world festivals.
