Nicoleta Miron - SYAA 2022

Nicoleta Miron is a visual development artist, animator and entrepreneur. She co-founded a small animation studio named “Scene06 Shot24” (@sc06.sh24) in her hometown, Bucharest, which she is currently developing and managing alongside her colleague.

Her work is characterised by fantastic imagery and bright colors which stem from her background in painting and drawing. Her strongest point is drawing backgrounds and concept-art.

She graduated from Falmouth University with a First-Class Honours in the “Animation & VFX” course. During her university years she worked on a multitude of short films for different clients like: ShelterBox, Devon & Cornwall Police and Student Mentor Body.

She debuted her career with the film “Off The Record”(@otr_film), which she co-created and co-directed. The film has since earned its place in international animation festivals such as “Animest”, “RTS Devon & Cornwall, Student Television Awards”, “Cornwall Film Festival” and “Animation Festival of Brazil, World Cultures”.

Her hopes for the future are to be able to share her vision and raise awareness of numerous social issues and have a positive impact upon society through film-making, as well as help, in any way possible, in the growth of the animation industry in Romania.
