Alla Prokopyshyna is a Ukrainian animation director and 2D animator based in Porto, Portugal. She graduated with a Master’s degree in Animation from the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. With a background in illustration, printmaking, and fine arts, her work focuses on character-driven storytelling, poetic imagery, and traditional 2D animation techniques.

Alla has worked as an animator and director on short films, TV series, and music videos across Slovakia, Lithuania, and Portugal. Her author projects explore themes of identity, femininity, folklore, and the relationship between humans and nature. She is currently developing her animated short film Hradivnytsa, which has been presented at pitching forums and selected for professional workshops.
