Mary Yanko, born in 1999 in Kyiv, Ukraine, studied painting at the Kyiv Academy of Fine Arts and animated filmmaking at Gobelins in France. Currently, Mary divides her life between Ukraine and France. Her particular interest in sensitive themes, notably the war in Ukraine, is reflected in her work.
